Zero Data Collection Policy

DocShift was engineered with a strict zero-data retention architecture. We do not collect, store, log, analyze, sell, or share any documents, files, or pasted texts that you process through our platform.

1. Pure In-Memory Processing

When you upload a document for conversion or compare two texts, your data is processed exclusively within volatile system memory (RAM). Once the transformation pipeline concludes and the output stream is delivered to your browser, the temporary memory buffer is automatically destroyed. No files are saved to any permanent storage disks or database clusters.

2. No Tracking Cookies or Telemetry

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers, cross-site analytics scripts, fingerprinting libraries, or third-party pixels. You can browse, convert, format, and compare files with complete anonymity.

3. Zero Database Retention

DocShift operates without a persistent user database. We do not require accounts, logins, emails, credit cards, or personal identifiers. Every session is completely stateless.

4. No AI Training on User Data

Your documents, spreadsheets, source code, and pasted text are never used to train machine learning models, neural networks, or generative AI datasets.

5. GDPR, CCPA & Global Compliance

Because DocShift collects zero personally identifiable information (PII) and retains no data, you inherently maintain complete ownership and privacy over all your content under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and international privacy frameworks.

6. Contact & Security Inquiries

For security questions or verification inquiries regarding our architecture, please contact our security team at [email protected] or inspect our public security declaration at /.well-known/security.txt.
